Coram has been announced as the new charity partner for Barrow Hepburn & Gale.

The company is widely known as the manufacturer of the iconic Red Despatch Boxes, used by British sovereigns, prime ministers, UK government, as well as other foreign monarchs and governments.

In a three year partnership, Barrow Hepburn & Gale will raise funds for Coram through private client donations and special projects, supporting the charity’s work with children and young people across the UK.

Both Barrow Hepburn & Gale and Coram have a rich history in the UK, stretching back to the 18th century. Today, both organisations have a focus on promoting their heritage and sharing their histories from their fascinating archives.

Dr Carol Homden CBE, CEO of Coram, said:

“We are delighted to be selected as a charity partner by Barrow Hepburn & Gale, an organisation with which we share a long history and values within British society.
Thanks to the generosity and commitment of Barrow Hepburn & Gale and their clients, we will be able to reach more children and young people who need us, making their lives better through our legal support, advocacy, adoption and educational programmes, creating change that will last a lifetime.”

Jeni Patrick, director of Barrow Hepburn & Gale, said:

“The partnership with Coram reflects the values of everyone within the company. Our aim is to provide support for Coram’s valuable work for children, young people and families. Our primary objective is to raise funds for the charity through some of our commercial activities and to be an advocate for Coram’s many initiatives.”
